The latest carving in the Knotty Tree series is now available. It features maple wood highlighted with a butter yellow stained glass backdrop. The bark carving is much deeper and there are several more crossing limbs, delivering a fuller three dimensional aspect. This carving also sports a new feature. It has walnut feet for table display and the feet can be removed for wall mounting.
These are limited edition carvings and there will only be one more tree carved for the 2007 season. The next one will feature deep red stained glass with touches of deep orange swirling through it. The picture you have displayed on your site is beautiful. I'm assuming your work is even better. I just finished working on heart chakra issues and the joy of forgiving only found through those around us. I don't think it is a coincidence that I am led to your tree with a heart embedded in it. I believe that earth is the place we can come to fully experience the depth of our hearts. The Tree was often used in ancient times as a symbol of the Goddess and was worshipped accordingly. Thank you for following your heart and sharing your gift with all of us.
